Bristol Art Museum show at Bristol Library
For 2010, the Bristol Art Museum is celebrating a series of exhibits with a theme of the elements at the Rogers Free Library, 550 Hope Street. Bristol. The first exhibit, focuses on "Earth" and is currently on view until April 6th, and includes a wide range of interpretation. Susan Fossati received the Juror's Award for her pastel, titled "Grains of Sand". Robert L. Pillsbury received the Honorable Mention for a paper construction, titled "Earth Grid". The public is invited to select their favorite entry and vote in the first People's Choice Award. A ballot box is located in the gallery on the lower level. The winner of this award will be announced on our website, www.bristolartmuseum.org on Monday, February 1st.
Painting above by Sheila Clark Lundy titled Earth's Garden is in the current exhibition.
