Local Political Forums

Lots of people have thrown their names into the hat this year to run for office. Please try to attend these valuable forums to sort out who you want to vote for.

• The RI Voter Coalition is hosting a candidates forum with all of the candidates running for Bristol Town Council. The forum is on Monday, October 18, at 6 pm at Rogers Free Library on Hope Street, Bristol.
Each candidate will give an opening statement and then questions will be taken from the audience. The event is free and open to the public.

• The East Bay Community Development Corp. will host two nights of local candidate forums on October 27 and October 28.
Meet the candidates for Bristol's State Senate and House of Representatives and for the Bristol-Warren School Committee on Wednesday, October 27 from 6 - 9 pm at Franklin Court, 150 Franklin Street.

• The following night Thursday, October 28, candidates for Bristol Town
Administrator and Town Council will be at Franklin Court from 6 - 9 pm.

Please send your questions for the candidates by October 20 to:

Kathy Bazinet
East Bay CDC
150 Franklin ST,
Bristol, RI 02809
or email her at:
kbazinet@ebcdc.org

Hopefully the forums will be televised locally as they have been in the past.
