Pumpkin Hunt, Egg Races, Old-Fashioned Games, Crafts, Birthday Cake, Prizes and More when The History Kids Host a Halloween
and Birthday Party in Celebration of Linden Place Mansion's 200th Anniversary
The well-known History Kids of Linden Place will host a Halloween and Birthday party celebrating Linden Place Mansion's 200th anniversary on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 2 PM - 4PM in the Linden Place ballroom, tent and gardens.
The History Kids began as Historic Games Club which met after school to enjoy old fashioned games like jacks, chess, checkers etc. It has grown into a group of over thirty students who perform re-enactments in period costume at special events throughout the state of Rhode Island.
Join the History Kids for egg races, a donut eating contest, a pumpkin hunt, hoop rolling, old-fashioned games galore, food, birthday cake, crafts, punch, prizes and more!
Tickets are $5 and children must be accompanied by an adult. Halloween costumes or historic dress are encouraged but not required. This event will take place rain or shine.
