Below is a message from Save the Bay:
This victory is a credit to the more than 5,000 people who signed our petition and the hundreds who attended public hearings and made donations; the many local organizations that mobilized their communities; state officials and the congressional delegations of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and municipalities that challenged the project every step of way – especially the City of Fall River and the Town of Bristol. The work of protecting Narragansett Bay from threats like the LNG project takes time, resources and a dedicated professional staff. Thanks and congratulations to you all.
