Osprey are back!

Saw my first osprey for 2011 this morning at the Coggeshall Farm platform nest! YAY! They eat fish exclusively and nest near salt water marshes where the water is not too deep and fish are plentiful. They are migratory and spend winters in South America - often in central Brazil near the Amazon.
