Bristol Historical Society and Linden Place to host special luncheon



The Bristol Historical Society and Linden Place will host a luncheon and discussion with "Killer Colt" author, Harold Schechter, on Sunday, January 23 at 12:30 pm in the Linden Place Ballroom at 500 Hope Street. The event will include a buffet meal followed by a discussion with Schechter relating to the murder of printer Samuel Adams in New York and the subsequent trial of John C. Colt, uncle of Bristol’s Samuel Pomeroy Colt who lived at Linden Place, for Adams’ murder. Tickets are $40 each, $35 for Linden Place and Bristol Historical and Preservation Society members.
