Just as apparent was the strong wind that is still howling. Hopefully you were lucky enough to be where you wanted to be before the snow piled up. Unfortunately, for many this was not the case. Bristol's downtown parking ban started at 3pm. Several places in Bristol lost power from the high winds causing power lines to swing into transformers. Luckily these outages lasted less than an hour. Photographs were taken around 4pm at Coggeshall Farm and Burnside Street. Driving was definitely slippery!
